Varna Municipality Rises the Fines for Parking Violations

The municipal council of Bulgaria’s coast city of Varna introduces new higher fines for parking violations in the city, reports the local news website Varna Utre. The proposal, tabled by Varna Mayor Ivan Portnih, provides for increase of fines for parking on pedestrian crossings, parks, park alleys, playgrounds and pavements.

Those car owners who leave their car on a pedestrian crossing, in a park, on a park alley, or in playground, will have to pay between BGN 200 and 800. those parking on a pavement will be fined between BGN 50 and 200. The new fines come into force immediately.
